To be happy starts from within! A healthy body, means a healthy mind. A healthy mind, means a happy aproach towards life.

Shiatsu is an art of healing, which is based on a holistic view of the body. It's a form of oriental folk medicine, based on the assumption that disturbances in muscles, nerves and organs manifest in the energetic channels called meridians.

​

By means of touch, observing, talking and  listening we try to give a boost on the selfhealing ability of your body.

​

Shiatsu is given to you with your cloth on. We kindly ask you to wash your feet and wear loose fresh washed cloth before you arrive. 

 

Ginger compress

A ginger compress is extremely warming for your body. It releases you of cramps and stagnation. Especially in fall and winter, a ginger compress is a blessing as it brings in a deep relaxation which enables your body to strengthen and recover easier.

​

A few examples for which a  ginger compress can be used: troubled sleep, muscle pains, reumatic pains, menstruation pains, soar throats, coughing, influenza, debilitas, emotional and physical exhaustion, cramps in your intestines.  

 

​Hot Stones Massage

A hot stone massage is a generosity for your body; especially for your muscles in your back. The therapeutic warmth of the basalt stones combined with several oils do have a deep warming and relaxing effect on your muscles, mind and body.
